Lekythos


Lekythos with a rounded body, narrow, funnel-shaped, thickened rim, high foot and a vertical handle. The vessel is covered with black varnish. The body depicts a woman in a chiton, who is probably offering gifts at the altar. The details on the garment are made with varnish, applied with a thin brush. The hair is raised in a bun.
